Bark-A-Lounge Policies

At Bark-A-Lounge, we take great pride in our professional grooming services and deliver top quality results.  Due to this, please allow 3-4 hours for grooming services.  Please be on time for your appointment.  Please be aware of the following policies:

 

Cancellation/No Show Policy:

 

Unlike other salons, we understand you have a busy life and things may come up that prevent you from making your scheduled appointment.  We do not charge a cancellation fee.  Please call the salon if you are not able to make your scheduled appointment.  We appreciate advance notice of a cancellation so that we may open up our books for other clients.  However, please understand that after 3 cancellations and/or no shows, we may no longer be able to provide you with grooming services.

 

Daycare Policy:

 

Unlike other salons, we do not charge a day care fee if you are not able to pick up your pet immediately following grooming services.  Pets may be picked up any time before our closing time of 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday and up to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

 

 

After Hours Policy:

 

We close at 5:30 p.m. on the weekdays and at 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  If your pet is not picked up by closing time, a $1.00 per minute charge will apply for the first hour.  After one hour, your pet will have to stay with us overnight, resulting in an additional $25.00 per day fee, for a total charge of $85.00.

 

 

Forgotten Pet Policy:

 

If your pet is left with us and no attempt has been made by you to contact us after 2 days of abandonment, you relenquish the right to your pet(s) and we reserve the right to responsibly rehome your pet.
